To search through the Directory of Lawyers, proceed as follows:

• In the "Name (First Name)" field enter the search term(s) and click "Start Search";
• The search result contains all the lawyers in Austria that correspond to the search criterion, even if results match only part of the search criterion:
  Example: "Mayer" will also produce "Mayerhofer" and "Mittermayer".
• You can combine the "Name" field with all the other fields;

• In the "Town" field enter the search term and click "Start Search";
• The search result contains all the lawyers that correspond to the Town in question, even if the results match only part of the search criterion:
  Example: "Hof" will also produce "Bischofshofen" and "Hofgastein";
• You can combine the "Town" field with all the other fields;

• From the list select the corresponding Federal Province, the Provincial Court District or, in Vienna, the District, and click "Start Search";
• The search result contains all the lawyers in the Federal Province or Provincial Court District;
• You can combine the "Federal Province/Court District" field with all the other fields;

• From the list select the corresponding Foreign Language, and click "Start Search";
• The search result contains all the lawyers with the selected foreign languages;
• You can combine the "Foreign Language" field with all the other fields;

• From the list select the corresponding Speciality, and click "Start Search";
• The search result contains all the lawyers with the selected speciality;
• You can combine the "Speciality" field with all the other fields;

To reset the inputs you have made on the search page, simply click the "New Form" button.

Once you have submitted the inputs in the search mask, you will obtain: - the number of hits found,
- a display with your search parameters, and
- the results list with the following entries:

(First Name): Mayer

Town: Vienna

Foreign Language: English

If your results list contains too many entries, use the Back button to go back to the search page and narrow down the search as described above.

To obtain the full-text display with all the available data on a particular lawyer, simply click the highlighted name of the lawyer.
