A lawyer admitted in Austria may state a maximum of five areas in which he or she specialises.

The lawyer selects these areas from the list shown at "Find a lawyer". Here the search is carried out by selecting an area of work.

The advanced search option allows you to combine different areas of work from the list and to carry out a more specific search.

Specialities: Of the maximum of five areas of work a lawyer may include one speciality that is not contained in the predetermined list.

A lawyer can individually state the area(s) in which he or she specialises. Therefore, a search by speciality may give one or few results.
